Over a hundred people – startups, developers, designers, and students – gathered this weekend to be a part of the first hackathon dedicated to the Industry: the Hacking Industry Camp. It took place at the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Strasbourg.
No less than 26 projects were presented. After a “natural selection” (election by vote) and the formation of each team, 11 projects have been developed and 7 received rewards:
Scalingo Prize: Esybill, Bill for Dummies
Scalingo Prize: SmartHome, a smart dashboard that will help in energetics
Scalingo Prize: 3D Data Visualisation
La Fabrique Prize: Looky Lux, a smart lighting system
Alsace Digitale Prize: Interfacile, that makes industrial communication easier
Rhenatoo Prize: Wine Cluster, an innovative storage alternative
PR World Media Prize: ChasseOGaspi, a game about eco-friendly actions
ÉS Prize: Looky Lux, a smart lighting system
This collaborative event allowed entrepreneurs to test their project and be supported. It also aimed to boost the innovation process and stimulate intrapreneurship for companies such as Hager, Socomec and the ÉS Group. The Hacking Industry Camp gives an impetus to the Industry 4.0 and will perpetuate through a new edition next year.
